Is it just me, or did he seem a tad bit slower and calmer (possibly drowsier) in the second clip than he does in the first?
Also, I can take a sleeping pill and not sleep. It doesn't knock me out but it does help me sleep but it's not anesthesia. It's not going to make me sleep unless I want to.
Did that remedy claim to make you go to sleep or did it just claim to make you sleep "better".
To anyone who has any kind of actual medical background, homeopathy is a joke. A bad one at that because you always have to go and retreat a worsening problem. /sigh I snorted out loud at was1's post. (SOL?) ;p
Homeopathy works for some people; even if it's "only" the placebo effect it does them some good. No, I'm not defending it or saying to depend on it in place of standardized medicine.
I'm a strong believer in placebo effect. If it takes a sugar pill to psychologically convince ourselves that we took medicine in order to make our bodies heal ourselves, then so be it.
Other than that, I do actually believe that some homeopathic remedies are effective. Arnica gel, for instance, is an excellent therapy for muscle aches and bruises. And Nux Vomica may or may not help with nausea symptoms (placebo may contribute to this one).

Since the more you dilute a homeopathic preparation, the stronger it becomes, the only way to overdose on it would be to not take it at all.
Nahh. That ice looks like Arctic icecap ice.

I'm always dismayed when I see small, independent pharmacies advertise in their front windows that they carry homeopathic remedies.
In addition to Yankee Candles, is that what they need to sell in order to stay in business? I guess so. How sad.

@mike -Arnica gel isn't homeopathic, it has actual arnica in it :)
