Words APhA Has Honored. YouTube Edition.
You know, I'm just gonna step aside here, put away all the snark, and let this dramatic reading from the book The American Pharmacists Association chose to plug from the author they chose to honor speak for itself. This guy isn't Lloyd, but he's preaching right out of Lloyd's work.
Before you hit play, remember:
The American Pharmacists Association's Foundation gave this author an award.
Since this book has been brought to their attention they have done nothing and said nothing.
As a Catholic, I watched this video, then linked to other media offerings by this person, slept on it, and have come to the conclusion that there is a lot of evil in this world clothed in the sin of self-righteousness. Whatever Catholic trappings this person adorns himself is merely his tools of propaganda, for his own agenda, not God's, nor that of society, but of his own.
Whether Mr Duplantis is a Catholic, and whether the person in this video adopted the published opinions of Mr Duplantis to suit himself is irrelevant to the issue of an organization that represents a body of scientific and professional endeavors by career pharmacists who swear an apothecary oath.
Just what is it that APhA honors Mr Duplantis? If it's for an excessively large monetary donation, then call it out for what it is. As an extreme example, perhaps APhA can award some American pharmacist a prestigious honor who actively supports eugenics and restoration of efforts in building an Aryan nation. Own up APhA.
